Some Thoughts About the Mind in Buddhism

The mind is what is not the physique, but it is not separated from the physique. In fact, mind and body are interconnected.  The mind could be recognized through the five senses, consciousness, the self perception and attachment (the ego), and the indefinite and boundless storage of all the karma and experiences a sentient being may have from time immemorial (I wonder if this could be similar to some type of dark energy or dark matter?).  The five senses and consciousness are like the tip of the iceberg, while the self perception and attachment (self love, selfishness...), and the immense storage of all possible action potential (latent seeds) are submerged, obscured and unfathomable.  Actually, these two are usually covered and veiled by our ignorance, but they have huge influences upon our life.  They are the driven force that shape our life.  Unfortunately, sentient beings are simply unaware of these subsconcious forces and influences, and, unable to control their own lives, they are usually driven into the whirls of life and death cycles.
