In my opinion genuine arts and science are and always serve beauty and truth. To accomplish a true work of arts or an authentic scientific achievement, from the beginning to the end of the artist's or scientist's laborious undertaking, there is no place for vulgarism, grossness and malevolence. S/he is inspired by Joy and Love, a passion that surpasses all mundane or low-level desires. Only works of genuine arts and science are eternal.
Awards, prizes and medals are transient and ephemeral. They do not reflect any intrinsic values of the works themselves.
