Diets Revisited

Basic ideas for nutritious and enjoyable meals: Whole and fresh/ not old or highly processed foods and beverages; Variety (not focusing on only one kind of food or beverage); Balance (all groups of nutrients: plant and/or animal protein, carbohydrate, good/healthy fat and dairy products, minerals and vitamins, and water); Adequacy (right amounts, depending on the individual's body/physical needs);and moderation listening to the body cues, not too much nor too little.
